BVSF – British Vehicle Salvage Federation
Sennocke has worked closely with the BVSF and provides members with access
to a specialist insurance product that reflects the memberships commitment
to improving operations and procedures, together with adoption of the
Code of Practise.
Individuals with a vast amount of experience in the Vehicle Dismantling
Sector operate the programme and they will work closely with members to
improve Risk Management and Health and Safety to a high standard, whilst
identifying the most suitable insurance programme. We have proved this
is the most effective approach to provide long term insurance stability
to the BVSF members.
The BVSF members currently handle around 75% of the UK’s vehicle
salvage production.
The Objectives of the Federation are:-
- To represent the common interests of independent salvage companies
in negotiations with Insurers, Government, European Commission, Police
and any other interested parties
- To regulate the salvage industry by ensuring compliance by its members
with all legislation relevant to their business operations and with
the provisions of the Code of Practice applicable to the handling of
vehicle salvage.
